KUU NYC x J’s Vendor was a two-day collaboration on 2/7 - 2/8 from 11AM–7PM, bringing together the energy of New York City and Harajuku culture. The event featured KUU’s special Butter Chicken Ramen alongside live sets by Smooth, Hero, K.D.A.B, Buzzdog, Tek, and Justy, creating a dynamic mix of food, music, and street-driven atmosphere

Mio Sparkling Event

Kuu Upper East Side & Financial District,

New York City 2025

To celebrate its first month, KUU hosted a Mio Sparkling Event at both locations featuring Seared Salmon Carpaccio, Spicy Tuna Tartar, and Mio Sparkling Sake in collaboration with @miosparklingusa. The activation combined limited-time pairings with an in-store raffle campaign to drive foot traffic, increase average check size, and strengthen brand partnerships through a cohesive, community-focused dining experience.

Takara Chu-Hi x Kuu

Kuu Upper East Side, New York City 2025

KUU UES partnered with Takara Chu-Hi for an in-house pairing activation, highlighting the Japanese sparkling cocktail alongside KUU’s best-selling dishes. Through a limited-time feature, guests who ordered Chu-Hi received special pricing on signature items like KUU Chili Kakuni Pork Ramen, Homemade Pork Gyoza, and Karaage. The collaboration elevated the dining experience, increased beverage attachment, and reinforced KUU’s connection to modern Japanese drinking culture.

Anime Food Festival

The Mezzanine, Financial District, New York City 2025

KUU participated in the Anime Food Festival at the Mezzanine, 55 Broadway, New York, bringing its signature Japanese flavors to a vibrant, culture-driven crowd. Surrounded by Japanese merchandise, handmade goods, and spirited community energy, KUU presented an event-exclusive menu featuring Spicy Tuna Tartare, Pork Bun, and KUU Chili Ramen. The activation connected the brand with anime and Japanese pop culture enthusiasts while showcasing its bold, shareable dishes in a dynamic festival setting.

Dine Around Downtown

Fosun Plaza, Financial District, New York City 2025

KUU participated in the Dine Around Downtown Community Food Festival at Fosun Plaza (28 Liberty St.), Lower Manhattan’s annual lunchtime tasting event. The team featured Spicy Pulled Pork Sandwich, Salmon Avocado Hand Roll, Shrimp Tempura Hand Roll, and Iced Green Tea, engaging the local community alongside fellow neighborhood restaurants. Established in 1997, the festival brings together Lower Manhattan’s culinary scene for a large-scale public food celebration.

Japan Fes

New York City 2023 - 2024

For two consecutive summers, KUU participated in JAPAN Fes, the world’s largest Japanese food and culture festival, serving Ikayaki (jumbo grilled squid) and Omusoba (omelet-wrapped stir-fried noodles). With over one million annual attendees across New York City and international locations, the festival showcases authentic Japanese street food, performances, and cultural experiences, allowing KUU to engage a large, diverse audience through high-energy outdoor activations.

Kuu Kushikatsu

Kuu Upper East Side, New York City 2024

KUU Upper East Side introduced Kushikatsu, Japan’s iconic deep-fried skewers originating from Osaka. Featuring lightly battered and perfectly crisp skewered meats and vegetables, the menu highlights the crunchy texture and savory depth that define this beloved street food. Guests can enjoy a variety of skewers traditionally dipped in tonkatsu sauce and paired with beer, bringing an authentic taste of Osaka’s casual dining culture to the UES location.
